Steve Grimm has been viewing the world through his camera lens for as long as he can remember. His ability to capture unique perspectives of the people around him keeps clients and friends coming back for more of his artistic photography.

Steve's intuition for capturing eye-catching portraits and nature scenes keeps him looking for the next best shot. Being somewhat of a perfectionist, he’s not satisfied until he’s put together a stunning series of images for each session. Steve has been especially trigger-happy since the advent of Digital Photography, always searching for the next subject to catch his attention.

In Steve's own words...

"When I was a young boy I used to draw a lot. Art and the female body always intrigued me. When my Mother would send me to my room to do homework, I would draw. Mom was torn in her feelings about this, as I wasn't doing my assignments. I was drawing nudes. But the drawings were very detailed and well done. She didn't know weather to yell at me or praise me. (Poor woman)

As I got older and became involved in our family business and my time for drawing seemed to diminish. Eventually my art transformed into photography. I started shooting wildlife and landscapes. Something was still missing so I decided to aim my camera at people.

There's nothing better than hearing a person's reaction when they see what I have captured with my eye and my camera. I seem to see things that others fail to notice. Maybe it's my need to have my photos look just a little different from all the rest. Maybe it's the artist trying to do something other than homework.

As I ventured into capturing the human image the question always arose, ‘Who do I take pictures of?’

Well, being lucky enough to be married to the most beautiful woman I have ever seen I decided to practice on my wife, Michelle. I still to this day love to photograph her. I guess it's my way of adoring her in a different way. She’s not always up to being the subject of my hobby, but she is always an inspiration - and a good sport, too. Thanks Baby.

I truly believe everyone has a beauty. My goal is to find it and capture it - for you and for me."
